Green conscience

Hotel guests can choose to forgo daily room cleaning and have a tree planted instead. This sustainable initiative not only benefits the environment, but also the regional community.

How does the green conscience work?

No room cleaning:
Guests who opt for the Green Conscience leave their room untouched during their stay. This saves valuable resources such as water and cleaning agents.

Tree planting:
As a thank you for not cleaning your room, a tree is planted for each guest. In this way, we support various projects in Germany run by the “Stiftung Unternehmen Wald” from Hamburg.

Regional sustainability:
The Schwarzwaldhotel Treschers is thus also making a local commitment. The donations to the foundation from Freiburg strengthen the region and create a positive effect for the local environment.
